  • Overview

    RSK Land & Development Engineering (LDE) Ltd, part of the RSK Group of companies, provides a complete engineering design service for residential and commercial development projects, both pre and post planning. RSK LDE Ltd was formed in 2003 after a number of specialist design engineers joined RSK in order to strengthen its existing in-house capabilities. It now has a highly experienced team made up of professional civil and structural engineering staff with many years experience in the assessment, design and construction of major development projects. LDE’s engineers typically evaluate the land use constraints in support of the site acquisition and planning process. This work would then be continued into detail design, obtaining statutory approvals, procuring and supervising the site infrastructure and remediation projects.


    We now have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our engineering team based in Coventry. This position is offered as a part time role working approximately 20 hours a week. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, but we can be flexible on the specific start and finish times.



    Part-time Administrator – Coventry


    The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within a similar administrative role. The role will involve, but is not limited to:

    • General administrative/reception duties for the team;
    • Acting as central point of contact for consultants working out of the office and maintain a safe arrival system;
    • Setting up and maintaining project and tender files, both electronic and hard copy and undertake filing/archiving;
    • Preparing electronic and hard copy reports for distribution to clients and management reports for team leaders;
    • Assisting the design team in collation and issue of drawing packs for clients and submission to approving authorities;
    • Providing financial support to projects and project managers, including project set-up, raising purchase orders, preparing invoices, toggling and financial reporting;
    • Maintaining records/filing systems;
    • Data entry;
    • Attend internal meetings and produce meeting minutes/notes for distribution

    Desired Experience:


    We are looking for someone keen to develop their administrative skills. The right candidate will need to have the following attributes:

    • GCSE in English and Maths (grade A to C or equivalent)
    • Previous experience within a similar role
    • Good organisational skills
    • Excellent communication skills and a team player
    • Proficient with all Microsoft packages, especially Word and Excel
    • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently;
    • Willingness to learn
