    Up and Under Ltd, a member of the RSK Group, are an engineering consultancy and contracting company, undertaking inspections, surveys and contracting services of various bridges, buildings and other structures within the transportation, utilities and built environment sectors.


    We now have an opportunity for a IRATA Project Engineer within our team in Crewe, Cheshire.


    IRATA qualified Project Engineer with supervisory experience - Crewe, Cheshire


    Up and Under (Specialist Contracts) Ltd., based in Crewe, Cheshire but working nationally across the UK to provide a full range of specialist access contracting services across the built environment.


    Due to our increased workload we now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced rope access Project Engineer to join and lead our successful and growing team.


    The ideal candidate will be a level 2 or 3 IRATA engineer with a minimum of 3 years professional experience who can fulfil the following requirements: 



    Essential requirements:

    • IRATA/BS7985 Certification
    • CSCS Card
    • Full and valid UK driving license
    • General maintenance/contracting skills
    • Ability to organise project work effectively and efficiently
    • Ability to create site specific method statements and risk assessments
    • Computer literate
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills
    • Ability to plan and manage fluctuations in project resources (Labour, Plant, Materials)
    • Ensure projects and completed on time and within budget
    • Work at height and confined space practices and procedures
    • Flexibility to travel across UK with overnight stays
    • To be adaptable with working patterns to suit contract fluctuations (Night / Weekend working)


    Desirable requirements:

    • Geotechnical bolts and netting experience
    • PTS
    • City and Guilds certificate for working in confined spaces.
