    RSK Group is one of the UK’s largest environmental geotechnical and contaminated land consultancies.

    The company now has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Land Surveyor to join the Helsby team who currently provide surveying services to support our clients in the property, civil engineering, oil and gas, nuclear, renewable energy, water and transport sectors in the UK and overseas.

    Assistant Land Surveyor – Helsby, Cheshire

     


    Desired Experience:

    The successful applicant will be expected to undertake site work using Leica Total Station and GPS Equipment. Initially the role will involve assisting the land surveyors with their duties, including field and office work, for the right candidate progression to land surveyor would be achievable.

     

    No previous experience is required as full training will be provided, which may suit school/college/uni leavers, although preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked in the surveying/construction industry.

    Person Specification:

    • A good understanding of Surveying techniques
    • From 0 to 5 years experience
    • A good degree or HND/HNC in Land Surveying is preferable
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong IT skills including Excel, CAD and N4ce would be an advantage
    • Full UK driving licence.
    • Able to complete projects from field to Office.
