    SharePoint Web Developer – Helsby or Tattenhall


    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SharePoint Web Developer to join RSK Group.  The successful candidate will be based in either our Helsby or Tattenhall office depending on the successful applicant’s preference. Due to the geographical spread of our offices, some occasional travel across the UK and possibly overseas may be required and expected from time to time.




    Reporting directly to the IT Director and working closely with the IT department your main responsibilities will be:


    • Develop, manage and support SharePoint sites throughout the business
    • Develop, manage and support a new company intranet based on SharePoint
    • Maintain and support legacy SharePoint sites
    • Mange and support legacy project related websites hosted through IIS
    • Work with different business areas to understand how SharePoint can work with them for better management of projects and tasks
    • Provide training and education to users on SharePoint
    • Maintain security of SharePoint


    Required experience:


    • Previous experience in developing and maintaining SharePoint sites
    • Previous experience in supporting and training users on SharePoint
    • Understanding of Office 365 and Azure
    • Some experience with Visual Studio
    • Some experience with Dot Net Duke
    • SQL knowledge and understanding
    • Ability to provide telephone support to remote users of all levels
    • Good communication and outstanding customer service skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
    • Ability to be dynamic, self motivated and work on own using own initiative is essential.
    • Well-developed all-round IT and people Skills
    • A full UK driving licence is required for this job
