    We are looking to recruit a full time trainee administrator to join the team on a permanent basis.


    Trainee Administrator – Hemel Hempstead – Full time (40 hours)


    Reporting to the Principal Administrator, the role will involve providing administration support to a team of geotechnical and environmental consultants. This role would suit a school leaver looking to be part of a large team and learn office skills. The main responsibilities will include:

    • Printing and compilation of reports in PDF 
    • Compiling new project folders, project filing and archiving
    • Travel and accommodation bookings
    • Data entry 
    • Reception duties and message taking
    • Completing general administration tasks as the need arises and supporting other administrators


    Desired experience

    We are looking for someone keen to develop his or her administrative skills. The right candidate will need to have the following attributes:

    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages 
    • Organised and versatile with a can-do attitude
    • Good communicator and a team player
    • Good written English and attention to detail 
    • Willingness to learn and use initiative
    • Pleasant telephone manner
