  • Overview

    RSK Environment Ltd, part of the RSK Group, is one of the UK’s largest independent asbestos management consultancies, helping to manage Britain’s biggest occupational killers.  Their services include surveys, sampling and analysis, preparation of policies and procedures, project management of asbestos removal works, auditing and training.


    We are now looking to recruit a Project CAD and Data Entry Technician to provide CAD and administrative support to the Asbestos teams throughout the UK.  Therefore we are happy to consider candidates working in our Coventry or Hemel Hempstead office.


    Project CAD and Data Entry Technician (40 hours) – Coventry or Hemel Hempstead


    You will be responsible for producing detailed CAD drawings from plans provided by the asbestos surveyors.  These plans will need to be completed to report quality standard in 2D, (A4 - A1) using AutoCAD LT.  You will also be responsible for data entry of technical reports, using in-house developed database systems and Microsoft Word.




    The candidate will be working under the supervision of the Asbestos Manager but will be expected to operate independently and prioritise their own workload.  Daily contact with the asbestos surveyors to approve drawings or reports and react to changes in deadlines will be normal. 


    Dependent on workload the candidate may also be asked to get involved with assisting with surveys or other administrative duties.


    The candidate must obviously have an excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and general user-based computing to cope with receipt of base-plan data in various formats.


    The interview will include a basic test of competency in your use of AutoCAD.


    This role may require a CRB check to be undertaken.
