    Ian Farmer Associates, a member of RSK Group Ltd, is a site investigation contractor with a large fleet of drilling equipment.  It is further supported by a fully accredited UKAS laboratory and together with the Geosciences division of RSK, the company makes RSK Group one of the UK’s largest site investigation service providers. 

     

    The company has a wide portfolio of clients in a number of sectors including rail, transport, water and property and we are looking to recruit Engineers at all grades to help supervise and manage site investigations across the UK.

    Contracts Administrator – Warrington

     

    The purpose of the role is to provide administration support to the Geosciences team.  This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday.

     

    Responsibilities:  

    • Data processing, typing of technical information into proprietary software.
    • Assist project managers with ordering and arranging equipment for site.
    • Arrange training and maintain training records.
    • Arrange servicing, repairs and arrange hire of company vehicles.
    • Oversee departmental equipment and arrange calibration and repairs.
    • Update, maintain and enforce approved supplier list.
    • Chase and collate staff timesheets.
    • Maintain holiday records.
    • Arrange and book staff hotels.
    • Assist with providing audit information
    • Maintain and update purchase order register 

    Person specification: 

    • Computer literate
    • Excellent organisational skills
    • Previous experience in contracting or ground investigation works (desirable)
    • Be able to conduct business in a professional manner at all times.
    • Ability to work to deadlines & targets
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Self-motivated with a positive and friendly attitude
