RSK’s ecology team are recognised for their work on large international and national linear schemes particularly in the Oil, Gas, Renewables and Rail sectors.


Our internationally recognised ecology team are currently looking to recruit two temporary Project Co-ordinators for up to 12 months to assist with a supporting on a number of large and exciting projects.  Whilst Hemel Hempstead would be the preferred location we will consider other locations including:  Bristol, Cheshire, Coventry and Oxfordshire.


Temporary Project Co-ordinators – UK Wide


Overview of role and responsibilities:


  • Provide administration and logistics support to a team of ecological consultants and senior management
  • Financial tracking and budget management
  • Programming survey works
  • Co-ordinating ecological survey teams and subcontractors
  • Completing health and safety paperwork and maintaining training and equipment records
  • Reviewing (non-technical) ecological survey data


Desired experience:


The role is ideally suited to those with an ecological or environmental based degree, however no field experience is necessary and this role may also suit someone with an administrative background with an interest and aptitude for ecology.  Further skills required are:


  • Excellent organisation and communication skills;
  • Proactive, positive attitude and willing to learn new skills;
  • Proficient in all Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel;
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently;
  • Enthusiastic team worker.


Salary and benefits:


  • £16,000 - £18,000
