The asbestos division of the RSK Group, is one of the UK’s largest independent asbestos management consultancies, helping to manage Britain’s biggest occupational killers.  Their services include surveys, sampling and analysis, preparation of policies and procedures, project management of asbestos removal works, auditing and training.


The division boasts a vast array of clients from major property development companies such as Taylor Wimpey to major energy and utility companies including BP, National Grid and United Utilities, this is an exciting division to join and growing fast!!


Asbestos Laboratory Analyst – Hemel Hempstead


Responsibilities may include:


  • Laboratory analysis of asbestos samples
  • Data entry of sample and survey data

  • BOHS P401 

Person specification:


The ideal candidates will have:


  • Previous laboratory/IT experience useful
  • Familiar with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Candidates should work well on their own initiative, under pressure and also within part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Methodical work approach
  • Well organised
  • Please note that all suitable applicants will need a full, clean UK drivers licence and in the main will be expected to use their own vehicle and claim back mileage.  All employees working within this division must complete a CRB check.

Salary and benefits: 


  • Salary up to £21,000 depending on experience
