Team Administrator – Manchester

 

Overview of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administration support to a team of consultants based in the northern RSK offices, including organising travel/accommodation/couriers, typing, data entry, and booking events/training;
  • Provide financial support to projects and project managers, including preparing Application for Payments and tracking receipt of payment; project set-up, raising purchase orders, compiling expenses claims, preparing invoices, forecasting, toggling and financial reporting;
  • Act as central point of contact for consultants working out of the office and maintain a safe arrival system;
  • Take on role of First Aider and Fire Warden for the office (training provided);
  • Prepare electronic and hard copy reports for distribution to clients and management reports for team leaders;
  • Set up and maintain project and tender files, both electronic and hard copy and undertake filing/archiving;
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post, answer phones, arrange catering for meetings and other general office duties as required;
  • Maintain training records, PPE records, DSE assessments and other associated records;
  • Taking minutes and distributing after meetings
  • Working hours would be 09:00 – 17:30.

Desired experience:

  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently;
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills;
  • Financial understanding of projects;
  • Ability to interact with subcontractors, clients and other internal departments;
  • Proactive, positive attitude and willing to learn new skills;
  • Proficient in all Microsoft packages, particularly Excel and Word;
  • Office management experience preferable;
  • Enthusiastic team worker

Salary and benefits: 

  • £16,000 - £18,000
