Overview

RemedX, a member of RSK Group plc, is a design-led soil and groundwater remediation specialist. We are capable of designing, fabricating, installing, operating and maintaining in situ and ex situ remediation systems in-house using our own highly experienced personnel and much of our own equipment. RemedX has been leading the field in remediation contracting for over 15 years and has an enviable reputation for providing innovative, cost effective, solutions for a diverse range of clients. An exciting opportunity has become available to expand RemedX’s sales team in the South, focusing on increasing sales and marketing the RemedX brand. 

 

The ideal applicant will have an understanding of, and an interest in, the geo-environmental industry and a basic knowledge of the processes involved in managing contaminated sites. However, training will be give to the right candidate. No previous sales experience is needed, but candidates must be well organised, have excellent communication skills and be capable of building long term business relationships.

 

Sales Executive - Bristol

 

The Key responsibility of the successful candidate will be to support the sales activity of RemedX in the South and will involve travelling for meetings. This will entail assisting in:

 

  • The development and management of new and existing clients
  • The provision of sales support to the Technical members of the Team
  • Supporting the sales processes
  • Attending internal and external meetings
  • Attending industry dinners and events
  • Researching changes in the market and identifying new initiatives and clients 

Experience

 

Ideally candidates will need a degree-level qualification, ideally in a science related subject.  The role will require someone who is very self motivated, able and prepared to travel, with some occasional overnight stays, with a flexible approach to working. They must be able to interact and cooperate with other members of the sales team and company.

 

The successful candidate will be given a period of training.

  • Confident telephone manner
  • Highly organised, with the ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Tenacious and self motivated
  • Fully competent using MS Office
  • Knowledge or experience of internet for research and Linked-In an advantage
