Due to recent company expansion and the introduction of a major systems upgrade we are looking to recruit an ambitious individual on an initial 3-6 month contract, to join the team to assist with the ongoing growth and challenges that RSK has set itself.   

Finance Analyst – Helsby, Cheshire 

This is a challenging opportunity where the role holder will be providing financial analysis and support to the Senior Executive Team at RSK. The requirements may change depending on the requirements of the Executive at the time, but will include: 

 

  • Provide financial analysis and support to the Executive team as and when required
  • Support to Finance Team during peak periods, in particular assisting with annual budgets / audits 
  • Provide trend analysis for key P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow lines, including recently acquired companies not currently on our systems
  • Provide historic data analysis from legacy systems for acquired companies, in particular from Great Plains
  • Obtain information from the accounts systems of acquisitions to support the team integrating acquisition
  • Identify improvements to financial processes and systems 

Desired Experience

 

The role would suit a qualified or part-qualified accountant with experience of Great Plains.

 

Skills 

  • Experience of a variety of accounts systems, in particular Great Plains
  • High proficiency with IT systems with advanced Excel skills
  • Personable and confident
  • Ability to self-motivate
  • Methodical and organised
  • To work to a high level of accuracy and with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to work to regular deadlines and timetables
