    As a part of our continued success of our topographical and geophysics department, we are offering a Land Surveyor or Senior Land Surveyor the opportunity to join our expanding and dynamic Topographical team, Based in our Hemel Hempstead office.


    Land Surveyor/Senior Surveyor - Hemel Hempstead


    Desired experience:


    The successful applicant will have Topographical experience and able to complete site work using Total Stations and GPS Equipment. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, must also be hard working, willing to learn new skills and able to work as part of a team.


    Knowledge in some of the following surveying fields will be beneficial, although not essential as training will be provided:

    • Land/Topographic surveys
    • Measured building surveys MBS
    • Elevation surveys MBS
    • Monitoring
    • Setting out
    • 3D Scanning
    • Volumetric Surveys


    These are all currently provided by RSK, and applicants will be trained (as necessary) to undertake a variety of surveys, utilising a variety of surveying techniques including 3D laser scanning.


    Requirements are:

    • A good understanding of Surveying techniques
    • Experience utilising Leica Equipment would be an advantage
    • 2+ years experience – land surveyor
    • Over 10 years experience – senior surveyor
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong IT skills including Excel, CAD and N4ce would be an advantage
    • Full UK driving licence.
    • Able to complete projects from field to Office.
    • Office processing such as archiving, mathematical reductions, equipment maintenance and CAD tasks.


    • CSCS Certified
    • N4ce knowledge
    • A degree or HND/HNC in Land Surveying is preferable but not essential
