The Geosciences division within RSK Group plc, is one of the UK’s largest geo-environmental, contaminated land and geophysical consultancies.  In addition, it can call on further related resources through RSK Group owning Structural Soils Ltd, the 200-strong site investigation and drilling contracting company.


We now have an exciting opportunity for Graduates in Geology, Geophysics and related Geosciences or land surveying degrees to apply for our scheme to commence in September 2018.


This is an accelerated training programme, which is accredited by the Geological Society of London, and designed to feed the best graduates into long-term careers at RSK as professional geoscientists.  This is your opportunity to start out on the path to chartered status within one of our geosciences technical teams.


As well as on-the-job technical training on commercial projects, we will provide an accredited training pathway to develop technical competencies, plus coordinated learning opportunities in project management, health and safety, and business administration.


We want to hear from you if you: 

  • hold a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree in geology, geophysics, surveying or geosciences or are predicted one in 2018
  • are a clear communicator, outgoing and a team player
  • are happy to be challenged by demanding site work, and the technical interpretation and reporting of site data
  • are looking to work for the UK's leading geoscience consultancy/contrators

In addition, we are particularly proud of the work that we have undertaken in the nuclear sector, where over the last 5 years we have been involved with the preliminary and main/intermediate phase site investigations at Hinckley Point and Wylfa on Anglesey.  This culminated in winning two prestigious awards at the 2017 Ground Engineering Awards:  Ground Investigation Project with a Geotechnical Value of over £500k and the Health and Safety Award.
