Overview

Structural Soils, a member of RSK Group plc, is a 200-strong site investigation contractor with a large fleet of drilling equipment.  It is further supported by a fully accredited UKAS laboratory and together with the Geosciences division of RSK, the company makes RSK Group one of the UK’s a largest site investigation service providers.  Due to an increase in workload we have are now looking to recruit a number of Labourers, to join the team in Bristol.

Working as part of a team you will be working under the direction of Geotechnical Engineers and Drillers providing labouring support on various sites.  The predominance of the work will be based throughout the UK.  You must also be willing to stay away during the week when necessary and be available to work occasional weekends and nights.  There is good potential to progress into a drilling career.

 

Desired experience

 

Although full training will be provided, the following are desirable:

  • Previous experience in the ground investigation industry or ‘building site-site type’ experience.
  • Industry recognised training e.g. CSCS, PTS, NVQ, plant and machinery tickets
  • Able to follow strict industry, health and safety and environmental standards
  • Must have a full driving licence, ideally with towing training.

Please note that all these positions are subject to routine drug and alcohol tests.

 

Salary and benefits:

  • £17,250 plus overtime
  • Site allowances and 31 days holiday (including bank holidays)
