The company has exciting opportunities for an experienced utility surveyor in our geophysics and surveying team who currently provide surveying services to support our clients in the property, civil engineering, oil and gas, nuclear, renewable energy, water and transport sectors in the UK and overseas.

 

Utility Surveyor – Hemel Hempstead

 

RSK has an exciting opportunity for an experienced GPR Utility Surveyor in our Hemel Hempstead office.

 

We are looking for the right candidate to join an already thriving team and develop their career within the successful RSK Group.

 

Desired experience:

 

Responsibilities will include undertaking site work using GPR and EML techniques, GPR processing and interpretation, production of reports and drawings to a high professional standard.

 

The successful applicant will be required to manage ongoing projects, prepare tenders and help develop skills of junior staff.

 

Familiarity with GSSI GPR and Leica survey equipment and software would be useful.

 

Person specification

 

  • Experienced GPR Utility Surveyor (2 - 4 years experience)
  • Competent in use of GPR and EML equipment for completion of PAS128 standard surveys
  • Competent in GPR post processing and interpretation for completion of PAS128 standard surveys
  • Competent user of High Precision GPS & Total Stations.
  • Competent user of 2D / 3D AutoCAD
  • Geophysical background advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills including Excel, CAD and some programming would be an advantage
  • Must hold a UK driving license
