    RSK Group plc is a large privately owned environmental consultancy offering a range of environmental services to its clients.  We have a large office in Coventry that hosts a number of our sector disciplines including ecological, asbestos and geoscience consultants.  We are looking for an Facilities Assistant to join the team on a permanent, full time basis to support with a range of both manual and office related tasks.  


    Facilities Assistant - Coventry


    The range of tasks will be broad and not exclusive to the list below, however key elements of the role will include: 

    • Managing the small stores and company equipment
    • Loading and unloading samples/equipment from the company vans
    • Responsibility for understanding regular checks on the boilers, emergency lighting and exits and fire alarms
    • Regular reception cover and taking messages
    • Taking packages and letters to the post office
    • Set up the meeting rooms and tidying them up at the end of each day
    • Generate purchase order numbers for all contractors
    • Undertake minor maintenance repairs on the building
    • Any other ad hoc duties 

    Desired experience


    The role will suit someone with a flexible approach, who is happy to help with any ad hoc task either manual or office related.  Due to the range of tasks to be undertaken the successful candidate will need to be physically fit and computer literate.

    • Organised, versatile with a can-do attitude
    • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently;
    • Excellent communication skills and a team player
    • Willingness to learn
    • Good written English and attention to detail
    • Pleasant telephone manner
    • Basic DIY skills
    • Computer literate
    • Full UK driving licence

     Salary and benefits:

    • £15,000 - £17,000 - depending on experience
