    The RSK Group, is one of the UK’s largest independent management consultancies, Within the UK, RSK is growing it’s Water Hygiene / Legionella department and as such requires a water hygiene/ legionella risk assessor that is able to take on further responsibilities such as monitoring of water systems, sampling, preparing reports and general customer liaison and project management.


    The division boasts a vast array of clients from major property development companies such as Taylor Wimpey, local borough & district councils to commercial and private companies, hospitals and the National Triust


    We are now looking to recruit an experienced Water Hygiene Surveyor to work from our Hemel Hempstead office.  This is an excellent opportunity to join an IIP company who can provide excellent career development.


    Water Hygiene Surveyor/ Technician – Hemel Hempstead



    • Surveying properties to complete legionella risk assessments
    • Preparing reports of the surveyed properties and submit to the client
    • Routine monitoring of water systems
    • Complete sampling and reports from clients sites
    • Working across the UK to travel to client sites, as and when required
    • Creating survey reports including plans, photos and recommendations
    • Contacting clients while on site or in the office to inform them of any issues that have arisen

     Person Specification:

    • Relevant experience with a City & Guilds certificate in Hazard Identification in Buildings or equivalent
    • Familiar with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Candidates should work well on their own initiative, under pressure and also within part of a team
    • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Be self-motivating and have good organisational skills
    • Adequate knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
    • Please note that all suitable applicants will need a full, clean UK drivers licence and will [potentially be expected to use their own vehicle and claim back mileage.  All employees working within this division must complete an Enhanced DBS check.

    Salary and benefits:

    • Starting salary between £25k-£27k depending on experience
