  • Overview

    The asbestos division of the RSK Group, is one of the UK’s largest independent asbestos management consultancies, helping to manage Britain’s biggest occupational killers.  Their services include surveys, sampling and analysis, preparation of policies and procedures, project management of asbestos removal works, auditing and training.


    The division boasts a vast array of clients from major property development companies such as Taylor Wimpey to major energy and utility companies including BP, National Grid and United Utilities, this is an exciting division to join and growing fast!!


    We are now looking to recruit experienced Water Hygiene Technician to work in our Hemel Hempstead office.  This is an excellent opportunity to join an IIP company who can provide excellent career development.


    Water Hygiene Technician - West Sussex or Crawley area




    • Undertaking water monitoring, asset inspections and TMV servicing
    • Undertaking remedial works
    • Preparing samples to send to the Laboratory
    • Working across the UK to travel to client sites, as and when required
    • Contacting clients while on site or in the office to inform them of any issues that have arisen

    Person Specification:


    • Relevant city and guilds or NVQ and at least 6 months documented experience
    • Familiar with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Sufficient IT skills to be able to work effectively with data capture software
    • Candidates should work well on their own initiative, under pressure and also within part of a team
    • Good communication skills
    • adequate knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation

    Please note that all suitable applicants will need a full, clean UK drivers licence and in the main will be expected to use their own vehicle and claim back mileage.  All employees working within this division must complete a CRB check.

    • Starting salary between £18k-£22k depending on experience
